Rare c.1900 antique brass locket necklace featuring a genuine carved shell cameo on a beautifully textured oval frame. This large round locket (approx. 1.75”) hangs from its original 36” opera-length chain, an uncommon and highly collectible style from the early 1900s.
The locket opens smoothly and holds two photos; one original antique baby portrait remains inside and may be kept or removed. Warm, untouched patina and light verdigris throughout, all consistent with authentic age. Chain and locket are unmarked, typical for the period.
