* Original 1930s die-cut thin cardboard advertisement for Alox shoe laces. Large graphic features a stylized men's oxford shoe with bold typography and the slogan "Take a Pair -- Pay the Clerk".

* Thin cardboard sign, edge surface wear & loss, corner loss at the upper & lower right edges, and age toning. Color remain strong, and the piece displays well despite the loss.

* Alox was a well-known shoe care and accessory brand in the early 20th century, commonly producing bold graphic displays like this for independent shoe retailers during the interwar period.
